Farmtoy show season is from October to April. Many shows are hosted by FFA or FFA Alumni clubs and are held at high schools as fund raising and agricultural education events. Some are sponsored by tractor clubs or indviduals who are interested in sharing their love of farm living. These model, many times, represent memories and a love of days gone by. We will try to keep you posted on some of the shows that Bud will be attending. Hopefully we will see you at one of these events.

2011 H.P.O.C.A Summer Show
This year's National Oliver collector's show was held at the Wayne County Fairgrounds and was hosted by the Buckeye Olivers Collector's Club. We were set up under the grandstands and had a good view of the show grounds. These guys put on a great show! In spite of the hundred degree temperatures and thunder storm, people from all over the country came to show off their tractors or just come and enjoy the displays and events. We saw an antique tractor pull and a radio controlled mini tractor pull. You could purchase all kinds of Oliver related memorabilia and products from the many vendors that were set up all around the show. There were parts dealers. On Saturday, Oliver tractors and implements were auctioned off. A must see, was the antique tractor parade. What a wonderful variety of different Oliver, Minniappolis Moline, and Avery tractors! We are looking forward to next year's show. The hosts for the 2012 Hart-Parr Oliver Collectors Association National Summer Show will be the Kalamazoo Valley Antique Engine & Machinery Club and will be held in Hickory Corners, Michigan on June 22nd to the 24th. You can visit their website @ www.kalvalleyclub.org.

Horse Lovers Having Fun.
Kids from Cleveland to Columbus came to Bud's Farm Toy's ,Breyer Fun Day event. They enjoyed model painting, crafts, & horse games. Some tried their hand at roping a stick pony, while others created western vests from paper & sequins. Daniel Kohler from Bowerston, Ohio, displayed part of her impressive Breyer model collection. There were mini horse races and other fun activities. Guests participated in coloring contests and entered to win a gift basket filled with Breyer toys. Both the children and their families had a good time. "We would like to thank everyone who came to our Breyer event and thanks to all the great helpers who made it a fun day for all."
